1. Purpose of Coaching
The Lightbrarian provides life coaching and personal development services intended to support self-reflection, goal setting, personal growth, and personal development. Coaching may include conversations, exercises, reflection prompts, educational resources, and practical strategies.
By using The Lightbrarian’s coaching services, you acknowledge that coaching is a collaborative process and that you remain responsible for your own decisions, actions, and outcomes.
2. Coaching Is Not Therapy or Medical Care
Life coaching is not psychotherapy, mental health counseling, medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. The Lightbrarian is not a substitute for a licensed healthcare or mental health professional.
No medical or mental health diagnosis, treatment, or prescription services are provided through coaching. If you need medical care, mental health treatment, or other specialized professional assistance, you should consult an appropriately qualified provider.
If you are experiencing an emergency or mental health crisis, contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource. Coaching is not an emergency or crisis support service.

3. No Guaranteed Results
Personal development is individual, and results vary from person to person. The Lightbrarian makes no guarantee of specific personal, professional, financial, relationship, health, or other outcomes from coaching, website content, or digital products.
Your results depend on many factors, including your circumstances, decisions, participation, and actions. You are responsible for evaluating and applying any information or suggestions provided.

4. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for your own choices, actions, and decisions while participating in coaching or using The Lightbrarian’s resources.
You may decline any exercise, suggestion, or activity that does not feel appropriate for you. You are encouraged to seek independent professional advice when a decision involves medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other specialized matters.

5. Privacy and Confidentiality
The Lightbrarian respects the privacy of individuals who use its services. Information shared in coaching will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the website’s Privacy Policy.
Please understand that electronic communications and online platforms carry privacy and security risks, and absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. Information may be disclosed when required by law or when otherwise permitted or required by applicable law.
The Lightbrarian’s coaching services are not represented as HIPAA-covered healthcare services, and you should not submit medical records or other highly sensitive information unless specifically requested through an appropriate process.

6. Coaching Services and Communication
The scope, format, fees, scheduling, cancellation terms, and any included support for paid coaching services will be described in the applicable service offering or purchase terms.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, coaching does not include unlimited messaging, immediate responses, emergency assistance, or ongoing access outside the services purchased.
